Happy christmas to all the users of the forum . I want to buy a pear of headphones and I'm stuck deciding between Plantronics Gamecom 377 , Plantronics Audio 655 USB and the Creative HS-950 . Which do you think is the best of these .

Ive got the Plantronics Gamecom 777, they sound good but ive broken them in two places I would say build quality is decent.

i'd say the Creative ones look like the ones to go for. They have their proprietary EAX bundled, so for gaming you'll certainly get much better immersion. I used to have the HS-1000 before and if these are as similar as they look, then you'll certainly get that 3D sound

Check out the TPU gaming headset/headphone thread, quite a few users donated reviews and their thoughts on many different brands and models. The link is in my sig, definitely worth a look and maybe help you give an idea of what you want, what you might be willing to deal with for the budget and what-not. I've never been treated wrong by plantronics for headsets, but my Turtle Beach HPA2's blew them away, yet my much cheaper JVC HARX700 headphones trumped those hands down (with a decent sound card to drive em' that is).

You might be able to find them under their parent brand name, Victor. Same model #'s usually, just Victor branded instead of JVC. Victor is more of an overseas/foreign brand iirc.

Bummer man, well plantronics won't treat you wrong by any means. But you might list what country you're from and see what other options others here might be able to find for ya...there's a lotta helpful folks on TPU, at worst you won't be let down by your plantronics either set that is.

Well , I'm from Romania and thus far the headphone selection in my country is really thin . The site which I used to search for the headphones you suggested is www.price.ro , which contains all the online shops in my country .
So ... if I were to choose which plantronics should I buy?
LE : In my country the Plantronics Gamecom 377 cost like 52.57$ :) , so that would be my budget ( 55 being the upper limit :p )

Ok I have the gamecom 377 for a few hours and I have to say I'm pretty astounished at the sound quality. As a minus I would have to say that they are aren\t very confortable to wear , especially for a dud like me who wears glasses . Furthermore my ears get kinda hot for a pair of open ear headphones :(. Also I would have liked a on/off switch :D .

LE : Oops my fault . The headphones are actually really confortable . I just had them too tight .
