The Sharkoon FireGlider appears to be a great budget gaming mouse. Rave reviews everywhere, including people saying it matches or exceeds their experience with more expensive models. Worth checking out perhaps?

I recently got one and I can't believe such a great mouse could be this cheap. :)

I've got the K90 but too will be upgrading to the K70 soon. I've got the R.A.T 9 wireless. It's a good piece of hardware and has helped my gaming accuracy loads.

I bought a K70 keyboard two months ago, excellent build quality and very cool design. Definitely worth buying. I liked the mx red keys more than my previous' mx black keys keyboard because they are much less noisy and seem to perform equally well for gaming.

I totally splurged when I was buying my mouse, did not know what I was buying - reading reviews afterwards realized I got lucky ... got Gigabyte M8000X and it's great for that price.

Using a cheap keyboard and mouse since forever and I'm looking into buying my first gaming mouse and KB.

Budget is around $200 and after looking into many reviews and sites I am leaning towards the Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red and Corsair M65 as my first choices.

I play all types of games, but I mainly play FPS games like BF4 and Counter Strike. I picked the K70 because by the first look it looks very durable and the design is simplistic, it has backlight which is useful at night and I don't need any extra keys other KBs has. I picked the M65 because I currently use a mouse that is similar to the Razer Orochi which is small(my hands are very small and below average), I use the fingertip-claw grip for now and the M65 looks durable too, Although I don't know much about how it handles FPS games.

My second choices are Razer Blackwidow and Deathadder , but they look plastic and I've heard the software that go along with it is not great

Anyone that has used any of these? what about other models?

As I don't play FPS games too often, I can't exactly vouch for any particular mouse for such a purpose. I however can say that the razor black widow keyboards are really nice. Being a blue switch keyboard, it is really nice and sensitive, while it also has a fairly crisp sound to it. On top of that, the ultimate has an antighosting mode and the ability to create and personalize macros; something which I find really neat.

I have heard people having issues with razor synapse, however, I have never have any problems at all and I find it extremely easy to use. One thing notable about the blackwidows are that they are very durable yet easy to take apart and clean.

I have owned and still do own several other brands of mechanical keyboards, red, green and brown switch and the blackwidow is by far my favorite keyboard; well worth the cost.

I think the main issue with Synapse people have is that it's always phoning home even when it's in offline mode it still try's to connect every so often.

And as for the BWU well i have had 2 fail on me now both with the same issue even though when working they are nice to use but the gloss look spoils it as it ends up looking like it needs cleaning all the time..

As for taking them apart at least with the BWU they are screwed together and cheap o plastic clips and if not careful you will snap the cover in 1/2 which is just shady.

So to me nice to use but fail in every other way all so note that not every thing is lit only the top of the key.
