So far, so good ... but, if i add 2 more of these DIMMs, it won't even boot. I tried removing them and switching them around (the ones i added only) and it does boot and almost reaches windows ... almost ... but it gets stuck so i have to manually reboot.

Here's what i've tried so far:

- Booting with the DIMMs i added, only, to see if the problem was with one of these -> works fine

- Booted with the 4 again but, this time, adding the "original" 2 DIMMs -> did the exact same thing as the beginning

- Raised DIMM volts from 2.06 (BIOS value) to 2.14 -> same result as before

- Raised VCore by up to 0.0375 to see if it would help -> same result as before

- Raised NB volts by up to 0.1 to see if it would help -> same result as before

- Raised FSBT volts by up to 0.1 to see if it would help -> same result as before

I'm @ a loss here: what may be the problem? Memory? Motherboard?

Any suggestions?

You have to lower your OC for the ram to get recognised. Im not sure how it works but I seen places like overclockers.co.uk they sell you an oc'd rig at for example 3Ghz then tell you if you want 4GB RAM the same rig will be oc'd at 2.6Ghz.

For example check here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-005-OC

At the bottom of the page they tell you "Note - If you select the 4GB Memory Upgrade option then the CPU overclock is reduced to 3.1GHz - 3.2GHz region to maintain stability with all four memory banks filled."

This RAM worked well, @ this exact same speed in my P5K-SE (8 multi and 442 FSB). Because the Rampage has a lot more options with voltages and such, there might be some differences but i have no idea where :(

Black Panther's advice worked: booted @ stock speed and again @ 3536 and it worked.

Thanks, dude: problem solved.
