Hi,
I'm trying to mod the realtek wifi usb driver in order to change the regulation country on Windows.
In Linux it is an easy task and everything works, but I use mainly Windows so I need it.
I've tried to edit the file TXPWR_LMT.txt (changing the enabled channels and the regulation setting) but without success, I've tried also editing the INF file but nothing seems to work.
In this forum I've seen that some of you had experience in modding realtek wireless driver and maybe someone could help me?
In particular I'm trying to unlock the 5ghz band 4 channels that even though in Europe they are allowed for in-door usage, Realtek decided to disable them at all (but 5ghz samsung hotspot uses only channel 149).
I have a Zyxel NWD7605 usb adapter which is based on RTL8852BU.
Best regards,
Mattia
