Hi,

I just bought a used GTX 750 1GB for my secondary PC, i stress tested the GPU by Furmark several times (2-3 minutes each run) and it did not show any problem.
During PC usage displays gets turned off after some time randomly, but PC remains on since when i plug the VGA cable into onboard VGA port the system shows display. It only gives back display from GPU when i put the cable back in GPU's VGA port and restart manually (if i restart while the VGA cable is connected in onboard VGA port and then put cable in GPU while PC is already on, it does not give display).

Have you checked the Temps. What was the reason for him to sell it? Any issues...?

in fur mark it goes to 73 C,
he upgraded his GPU, atleast he did not tell me any issues

Yea 73C is beyond the safe zone. My 750Ti of course I reapplied thermal paste and now is 33C where before was 58C

Just to note I used Sliver 5 as my Thermal Paste

Hmm seems to be working fine for 1.5YRs...

I mean for applying, non conductive TIM is the better way to go, just to stay safe.

I just tested the GPU on another PC and its working fine on it, ran Furmark test for 10 minutes and it ran fine (temp went to 71C), played COD MW3 and Tomb raider for hours, and kept the PC on overnight.
Maybe there is a problem with my mobo as when the card turns off display the onboard graphics works
