(Help needed) New ssd plus windows 11 update cant secure boot

i just installed a new 2tb kingston ssd and while doing that i got win 11. now i cant disable csm support to enable secure boot. whenever i try to disable csm support and save it, i reopen my bios and the csm support re-enables. please help me
motherboard - gigabyte h410m s2h
gpu - zotac geforce gtx 1070 ti

updated my bios to most current version
updated gpu via GeForce experience app
unsure if under (window 10 features) I should have selected (other os) to run win 11 properly.

Secure boot should be a default setting flashing bios should of wiped old setting out

EFI only boot plus enabling secure boot at the same time

Only issue I can think of is the current install is in legacy mode "mbr disk not gpt" seeing you say csm is not sticking and csm is legacy mode.
If that is true you can't boot into gpt/ efi disk at all so seems the bios is pretty smart after all switching back to csm because boot error.

Reason I say that is you say you update GFE app this is in windows so you are booting into windows but only if csm is enabled ?

so should i be able to fix it by replacing the ssd with my old one and changing the setting using that?

update: im a little unsure because using my old ssd and win 10 i was already using secure boot enabled

i have switched the setting to UEFI from legacy. although when i disable csm the option to change that setting disappears.
also yes, i can open my pc when csm is enabled. i believe i converted to gpt but how can i check and is it difficult to change now win 11 is already installed

Install looks fine so bios bug
I wouldn't worry about it.
MS has an update coming to update secure boot keys so maybe this is why bios isn't cooperating

None looked very interesting to me and i didn't even see what they wanted price wise.

Hardly. I won't make a list for you but online multiplayer games can expect this. Many of them are probably outside your wheelhouse but they do exist.

And yes it's almost all related to funky anticheat stuff. Still if you need it, you do.

why? And why one needs SB in home tasks?
Yes I do modern installs (10/11) in GPT UEFI mode, but I never enable SB crap, bcuz if I need to use USB, I will need to have sEx to go into BIOS (uefi, lol) and use that USB!

EFI could be booted WITHOUT SB.

just reinstall bro.... and use settings what you like. you could use csm/legacy and use your disks in MBR scheme, or use UEFI boot and use disks in GPT scheme. Both 10 and 11 could work in both, though yeah you better use some tool like Rufus to create USB install for Win 11 and to switch off stupid MS requirements for SB etc. and other UNNEEDED crap.

This is a new ssd
Did you turn secure boot off before changing to the new ssd ?

This usually isn't needed on asus boards or acer but clear secure boot keys should get rid of the prior keys.
If not reinstall the older ssd and try that way.

no i didnt change any boot setting in bios before changing ssd which is why this is so weird because i had secure boot working with old ssd plus win 10

You'll have to reinstall the old ssd and disable secure boot then swap to the other after.
Odd I know but about the only thing left to try frankly.
