Hi guys I have an old board currently which is preventing me overclocking my 6000 x2 anyfurther as the bios has a locked HT meaning it can only take so much and then locks up, hence why im only at 3.2. Now there is a problem apparently with downgrading to an older bios which allowed an unlocked HT which is it will not recognize or allow the older bios.

I have found a method http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20080411095605234&board_id=1&model=P5K+Premium%2fWiFi-AP&page=1&SLanguage=en-ushere which i think could work but need help with the process, can anyone help please :) I know nothing about DOS:shadedshu

I doubt you can take that windor any further. Mine's won't go above 3.3 no matter what I do but I guess you could give it a shot
