I used to get that, I checked my RAM and took out two sticks, even though there was nothing wrong with them (they passed Memtest86) haven't had a problem since.

Also check your power cable/ wall output/ PSU.

Sounds like a corrupted version of windows. Checking hard drive is what I would do first.

the windows it`s fine, i installed that version too many times on too many computers and worked just fine. HDD works fine also :(. PSU - checked, even changed it already once. I`ll try to replace ram, meanwhile i`m open to new suggestions cause gettin` new ram might take a while, need to order it :( .

Wall outlet? Power cable? Checked those?

EDIT: Also what voltage is your RAM running at/ rated at. Could also play a part.

This will sound stupid, but here we go.

If you have a wireless mouse/kb set (IOW, on the same usb dongle), they can freeze up and it will look like the rig has frozen unless something is running and you can see it making progress.

I'll think some more about it though.

Thread title amended to better describe it....... On topic, it still sounds like memory to me, might I suggest you increase VDimm a little to see if that helps.

I just saw that you already swapped the PSU out once, but anyway, since it sounds like it's a cheap/generic model, I think it's still possible it may be your problem. Same for memory. The CPU is a highly unlikely but legitimate possibility, as is the motherboard.

You said you've used the same copy of Windows on other systems with no problem. However, have you tried reinstalling it anyway? A good installation disc doesn't guarantee a good, clean installation. Sometimes things simply go wrong once and go right on the second attempt, even if you use the same installation disc on the same system.

You also said the HDD is fine, so I assume you have run a thorough disk check—if not, give that a whirl.

Good luck, and BTW welcome to TPU!

I changed that PSU with a 500W one by CoolerMaster and yes that codagen was a cheap piece of ***. I reinstalled the win like 10 times :) both win XP pro and Win 7 Ultimate. For now ... it`s workin` fine .. i followed the advice of tatty_one .. i increased the voltage a lil bit .. from 1.5 to 1.515 .. i know it`s not much but it seems to work .. till now :) .. hope will stay that way.
I want to thx u all for advices and suggestions .

EDIT-Bad luck :( .. raised again the voltage to 1.530 :( i`ll keep u in touch .

EDIT 2 - After 3 mins .. lockup once again ... raised voltage once again .. hope i wont burn up the ram :D

and once again that error

"<Task>63</Task> "

are there any background tasks that are getting loaded? The first thing that comes to mind is a virus.

I'd dl malwarebytes or Avira (free for 30 days) and run a scan - include bios and rootkits.

Some nagging feeling still tells me it's memory..... not sure why, try 1.6V.

When I encounter those odd type issues for no apparent reason, I start down my bleh-list:

1. Make sure I'm using the right DIMM slots.
2. Make sure BIOS is up to date.
3. Add a little extra voltage to the DDR3 - i.e. 1.55 or 1.6V is perfectly safe
4. Manually set the timings in the BIOS.
5. Monitor, or keep an eye on the 12V rails to see if they're dropping too low. (Since, I only use high performance PSUs, it's never this problem.)

If that doesn't work (and assuming your OS installation is a clean one), reinstall the chipset drivers one more time. After that, I would start pointing to a possible internal board issue. If your OS isn't a fresh install after installing the new motherboard and upgrades, you should reinstall it - yeah, it sucks, but it's Windows.

I think i found the problem. After i removed 1 dimm .. guess what ? no more errors. I was able to run up for 2 hours .. no crashes.
I`ll keep you in touch.

Looks like it might be a drivers conflict or a power management problem with some device or devices.

You are getting this..., because it is locking up and cannot report to windows error management what happened, same as if you hit the off button instead of shutting down properly. Thus the <Data Name="BugcheckCode">0</Data> , 0(zero). as in no bugs reported, I froze.

Try this:
1. Disable USB Selective Suspending In Windows 7

2. Goto device manager and disable any sound devices you are not using (ex. ATi HDMI HD audio)

3. Update your bios and any drivers to the latest, especially your usb 3.0 (probably NEC ) and usb 2.0

Hope this helps:)

Edit:
Latest NEC usb 3.0 drivers that I could locate.
Windows 7\XP\Vista\ 2000 64 bit
Windows 7\XP\Vista\ 2000 32 bit

Strip It Down!

No, that kind of strip down. I mean, take out all of the non-essential hardware out of the equation by using 1 memory stick, 1 properly working video card, and 1 OS drive.

Remove any and all extra USB, wireless, hard drives, ROM drives, external storage, extra fans, any lights, and/or computer case extras. You want the system to to be running on just the 3 items up top.

IF after a little testing, you continue to lock up, switch out the memory sticks. Without confirming your RAM is working properly, it's still a possibility. A local PC shop will sometimes be happy to check it out for you without cost.

However, if the RAM is working properly and you still have issues on a skeletal-build, I am going to say it's time to RMA the motherboard.

i have a feeling that's it's a ram/mobo incompability. and especially the ram kit you have, i have the same, and i have also some problems related to them and it's the most critiqued corsair kit i have seen.
have a look into corsair forums, you can get valuable help there, look also in the special gigabyte forum on tweaktown forums it"s an OFFICIAL technical support forum where you will get quick answers.
