Help, Video Card WAY TOO HOT

i think that the sensor is telling the truth... but do u realize at 200*C u are reducing the life of the card by over 50 times?

No, it has to be lying...the card would have artifacted, locked, and crashed WAY before reaching such high temps.

or he could have THE card...THE one that will be able to overclock like crazy and not explode

Ahh... you mean "the one card to rule them all"? :rockout: LOTR

lol u mean LOTK (LORD OF THE KARDS) LOL  ;)

the sensor has to be f'ed.
i've seen it on an x850xt agp. we had to OC it using a thermometer borrowed from lab, and checking for artifacts, but it worked. i've even seen voltage readings not work right (using cpu-z, the previous version before the one taht just came out, it would say i'm running at .016v, but now it reads right.

at best it's a software issue (like my cpu voltage one), at worst and f'ed sensor. if you get an rma, that's perfect!

yeah if it was @ 200*C everything would have fell apart cuz it would unsolderd itself, everything around it would not function from heat... you would fell the heat comming from your case... or maybe you do have the one card that even tho runs way hot, can withstand any tempurature therefor leading to extream overclocks can anyone say 2ghz on a gpu?? lol jk lol jk.... the one card, i want the one card:rolleyes:
