Help with FPS problems (CPU bottleneck?)

my friend has the same build but with 32gb ram and gets 50% usage 200 fps smth like that
Did you re-install or reset Windows since the first day you posted (February 02, 2022)? It's been what 12 days.

And if you actually have the code, why would you lose Windows activation?

i want to ask is my code going to get removed cuz i activated it week ago
No. Once you activate it, the motherboard stores your activation credentials. You only need to reactivate if you build a whole new PC or change your motherboard, in which case you can just run the Activation troubleshooter and get guided through it.

I doubt his friends rig is 100% exactly the same.

Well he shouldn't be getting only 57 fps. And I can't confirm but the screenshot look like GPU is being utilised only 19%

This benchmark is old af but his 1660 Ti should be getting somewhere in the neighbourhood of 120 fps in Epic quality. And here he's getting 57 at low quality.

I saw this problem today and i just wanted to check if that everything is fine    ?
I have r7 2700x not overclocked with gtx 1660 ti 650W and 3200mhz
and getting way lower result than it should be. Here is a picture

Here is also an a spec picture

A few things come to mind.

First, please go to your user control panel and fill in the specifications, and tick the box to show them.

Is this repatable?
Is it possible you were running things in the background while this was tested....updates and such?

How many threads do you need for this underperforming 2700/1660 ti?

Unless you're using 100% of the cpu that result is low, multi looks almost ok but the single thread should be much higher. How much ram is in use? Run Task Manager for a few seconds and take a screenshot of the performance tab with cpu clicked like this. Do you have anything disabled in bios like SMT that might cause a low result? Have you re-run the test multiple times and getting the same result?

Re run the test, if it still scores low single thread something probably turned off in bios like SMT (simultaneous multithreading), or possibly a bios update might help.

Do not create another thread relating to the same exact problem, that is called spam, you have been reported.

This is the 3rd or 4th time you have done this.

Take it to a shop

Honestly, at this point, I think this user's skull is about as thick as the trunk of a California Redwood....

Why is your CPU voltage locked to 1.2V?
What have you changed in the BIOS

I'm also thinking we need to lock down these extra threads - @D3N4O if you wont LISTEN to people, why post?

These thread titles make no sense, you provide very little information and then get upset when people ask for it, and make new threads.
This thread title has been changed to something actually coherent.

Reset your BIOS settings. enable XMP. leave the rest alone.
Reset or reinstall windows (A reset does not lose activation)
Don't tweak things you don't understand.

Timeout maybe ‍

You have been warned before to stop making additional threads on the same topic/problem!
This is your last warning on the subject!
