Hey guys, I just bought a GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4, it has the NForce 570i chipset and I can't find anywhere in the bios to change my ram timings or even the control rate, I bought some 4-4-4-12 ram and it's stuck in 5-5-5-18 CR2. Does anybody have this board or know any way I can change the timings and control rate?

Like all giga boards you have press ctrl I at the same time to get into memory timings. I don't know why they do that.

I do this in my M.I.T. settings, right?

lol Is your system specs a joke or you really have an antique on your hands there.

Well, I got CR1 and my timings down. But now the ram just isn't stable under load. I upped my DDRV to 2.1 and I'm afraid to go too high. The ram still really isn't hot, about as warm as a baby's bathwater. I'm starting to think that maybe Newegg sent me the wrong part.

Look on the sticker on the side of the ram for speed, timings and voltage. What speed are you trying to boot with?
