Hey
I have lenovo legion y530
I7-8750h
Gtx 1050ti
The max gpu temp is 69C whatever I play
But the cpu temp while playing
Between 55C and 88C
And for a moment it spikes up to 98C
I changed the thermal paste twice
Tried cooler master and thermal grizzly kryonaut
Tried to undervolt
Up to -175mv for core
And -145mv for core cache
Fans are clean and working good
I tried windows 10 and windows 11
Nothing of that helped me
And still gets high
The only way to reduce cpu temp is to underclock
When i do that i loose performance
First of all
Sorry about my bad language
2nd is my problem normal and i should not worry about ?
3rd is there anything i can do to improve temperatures ?

Are you freezing up without underclocking?

If not, you have no problem and should leave the mobile alone

No i’m not having any problem and the performance is great
Just the temp spikes up to 98c a lot

Can you prop the laptop up from the back, assuming that's where the fans/intake are, and allow it to "breathe" more fresh/cool air? Beyond that it sounds like you're at the peak of your laptop's thermal abilities. Some people use coolers with additional fans as well.

What are your ambient temps? Can you lower the room temperature at all?

This is happening in the middle of the winter with -4C room temp
And i’m using cooler pad

I've read that Lenovo has some faults in some designs of there laptops. Just saying...
