Hi folks,
Short explaination for my friend who is looking forward to build a new rig for his workload. Last of what he owned is now washed away in floods. Glad he made out alive :toast:

What we have in mind is:
Pro: Amd Threadripper Pro 5995wx
Mobo: Asrock WXR80 Creator
Ram: 512gb (advise needed)
Gfx: 2x rtx 4090, 1x rtx3090 (rtx4090 vendor advise needed)
PSU: 2x 1200w ATX 3.0 (advise needed)
Storage: 2x 2tb PCIe 4 x4 (raid)
Cooling: 360mm AIO or custom loop (advise needed)
Case: advise needed:

I will be more then happy from the TPU community to assist in this PC build. Each and every item would be imported minus the Chassis.
We are considering 64gb modules to attain 512gb configuration but the motherboard has no qualifed 64gb stick listed under QVL on asrock's website apart from 32gb modules. Ofcorse we can go for 64gb ecc ram modules yet the mystery remains unfold whether it will work or not if we go for 64gb or 128gb modules. And yes 512gb is a must because 256gb ram was not enough for the previously owned threadripper.

Another question is for the PSU. We decided to go with dual 1200w platinum rated supplies with ATX 3.0 specifications but not so sure which ones will get the job done. One for the gpus and the other for the system is what we are thinking right now.

The storage is not an issue as to all the storage options will be used simultaneously regardless of their speeds and mediums. But I would really like to know whether this setup should be under a custom loop or the 360mm AIO cpu cooler is enough. The room temp barely hits 25c but humidity is questionable. Still figuring how to tackle humidity and not ruin this precious upcoming build.

The Chassis is kinda mind twisting here. We first were going with couger conquer for the looks but im not sure if its the best suitable options.

Any link to the specified hardware with a good price point will also be helpful.

Didn't Linus do a video on this last week? The computer was 20K BTW.

Did not stream it, was it specifically on the same for what im asking ?
I know its expensive but at this level all this is needed to get things going.

Lol honestly speaking we would be setting up our own hydro power plant just to power this machine for 24/7 use. We have alot of electricity shortage issues and its way too much expensive here.

May want look at Tech Notice on YouTube.
He is in Great Britain. You may be able to give you some ideas. Your choice of power plants is up to you:D

1. If humitidy runs under 75% you should be fine. Computers produce heat lowering humidity around them.
2. Why the 2x 4090 and 1x 3090? Why not 3x 4090?
3. Is ECC a desirable feature?
4. What location?
5. I like custom loop but they do involve occasional maintenance.
6. Watercooling GPU with that many in one place should provide cooling benefits. Also, the Quad-slot coolers become dual-slot.
7. Phanteks Enthoo Elite can mount many a radiator
8. Minimum 3200 MT/s RAM

My thoughts as I saw this thread, after the initial shock and jealousy wore off.
