High ping in COD5... ANy Fix?

Hey guys!

I seem to have a high ping everytime I play multi/co-op online...
How lower my ping?

I have 7mbs cable internet connection...

Any feedback will be appreciated

Find a server closer to home?

I only get pings like that if I try to play on servers in Japan or I'm busy downloading smut. :roll:

Sayme. I get like 50 or so on SE US servers, but with Vuze running it can go up to 700 :/ I remember I had over 1000 trying to play TF2 on 56k once.
