ey guys, i just bought the Xpertvision 7600gt, i have recently overclocked it to 750MHz Core and 880MHz Memory, so i was wondering, is it the highest overclocked 7600gt without vmod, and possibly the fastest?

I just got that GPU-Z to show u i wasnt lying, so here it is :)

So guys, what u think :D

Without a voltmod? That is insanely fast.

oo, ill start benchmarking :D, wat u recommend, 3dmark 05 or 06?

Thats about what mine did on water....with a slight Vmod I took it to 785 core, then it just stopped clocking no matter the volts. Thats damn good clocks if you are able to sustain them on air, as mine at even 700 would top out at almost 80*C without a mod.

As for 05 testing I have benches in socket 939 and 775 to compare ...only 939 for 3D06.....that is if you are interested.

BTW what it your full load temp at 700 core with say ...scan for artifacts in ATITool 0.26?

i did do a cooler mod however, cos my 7600gt hasnt got a reference pcb i cant find the place to do the vmod, and looks a lot different than the one of xpertvision's site.
maybe if i did a vmod i might even touch the 800mhz core barrier :D

i replaced the stock cooler with an old athlon 64 cpu heatsink xD

Heres the image of the hs

My idle temp is at 38 Degrees, and my load with crysis is around 45-50

If those numbers are in fact true ....Id start doing some homework on a Vmod....that card has lots of room to stretch its legs yet. Mine being the XFX flavor too alot of googling to find it , but eventually i did find where to mod it!

That's damn good, man... my 8500GT only does 680 max :/

ya, i hope u guys can help me :D, i wonder if i could beat a 7800gt xD

oh my gpu isnt XFX its a Xpertvision

Here's a pic of my card

017212.jpg

it looks exactly the same, but mine has aluminium hs's on the memory

i have seen the vmod guide for this card, but my pcb is a lot different, resistors are not there, when its shown on pics on the vmod site
also the copper coils are not there , and they are replaced with black boxes?

i would think it would be cooler if it could top my 7800GS which is running close to that :P

lol, you never know xD.
im hoping for over 4100 3dmarks in 06

I realize your card was not a XFX , but like your Xpertvision, my card also uses a different PCB than the referance. Just keep looking Im sure someone has modde this card B4 and its on the internet somewhere!

well, i have never known, or seen for that matter a 7600gt reach those clocks before without a vmod, so could it be a special model? . i only bought this card ready to tide me over for when i get my 8800gt :D

Depending on the rest of your specs....Please fill them out in the UserCP tab at the top (be sure to check the "show" tab)...your dreams are not that unatainable!

Here was my results prior to going 775...

i have had atitool running for over 10mins now, and there is a slight artifacts every 2 mins, but only shows for a split second and goes

ya i have filled in the specs :D

I guess that's fine, but still not 100% stable.

I wouldn't say its a "special" model...but deffinately has a GREAT core stuck in the PCB fo sure. Just to be able to do what you are doing with no more than an aftermarket cooler, just points to exatly that. I would be more apt to say you got lucky with the card you got , as most dont perform that well.

EDIT....Check to see if the box at the top is checked to show others your specs....they should show under your name as ours do.

ill do a 3dmark 05 first, 06 is downloading at moment :)

but god, these 7600gt's can sure overclock o.O

eh i just ran 3dmark 05 and i got 8012 3dmarks, is this right?

Highest I could get on my 7900 GT was 10280. That's not too bad.

for some reason I dont have a pic of my 05 run...brb with an edit for score.

aww thanks guys, you been a great help :D, i guess thanks r in order xD

hmm, if i go any higher in the mem i start getting artifacts, but if i drop mem from 880 to 870and increase my core i can go up to around 775, would that be better?

core is better than memory IIRC ....and im just breakin 8300 for score 750/900.
