The 'net is full of conflicting, inaccurate or outdated info on this, and it's no help that NVFLASH wants to run in DOS or under the command line, neither of which I am even remotely familiar with.
The reason: My Inno3D GTX970 is a mess: crashing out with screens of many colours-red, green, yellow, black- all with a sound loop and automatic reboot when playing ANY game at random intervals. It's just fine otherwise, but it was not bought to surf the 'net and play Youtube videos, I've a 512Mb GT8800/C2D rig that can do that!
I've done the usual: Full reinstall of Windows on a brand new SSD,along with the latest motherboard chipset/sound drivers, the motherboard BIOS is updated to the latest 2.6 version and the PSU has even been replaced, all to no avail.
A return to supplier got me nowhere BTW, they state that it's running properly.
And, to add insult to injury, my much modded and abused HD7950 runs just fine...GRRR!
Help me Techpowerup Forum, you're my only hope.
