How do I fix this Google Desktop Problem?

I use the google desktop sidebar and its pretty convenient for me. Just one problem the program doesnt connect to any server for anything news, stocks. How can I fix this? All it says is DJI: Server not available.

its supposed to connect to its own mothership and collect (and keep) all sorts of info about u and your habits thow..
