Hi TPU,
Anyone know how to make a Windows XP (x64) bootable disk using Nero?

Better using XPLite then you can add service packs and mod XP and make it totally automatic on install.

Thanks. Ill try it out later on. But do you know what is the boot image for xp besides that boot.ima ?

Just downloaded XPLite.. NOT compatible for Windows 7:( (even on compatability mode)

imgburn ftw.

OMG That was the software I was looking for. I thought it was nero so I intalled nero on my system. This software detects whether it is os installation or not right? :)

Just burn as image. That's what you want for a bootable disk. Doesn't matter if it's an OS or anything else.

I had a problem when imgburn and nero were installed on win 7,
I had to go into imgburn options and change it from "STPI" to the other option, can't remember which. Keep that in mind in case you have a conflict.

Other than that, Imgburn seems to know everything - try and make it do the wrong thing and it will tell you off and put you right!
IMGBURN = Dog's Danglie's

nero sucks on monkey balls. making a bootable iso is easy (you'd just need few tiny files) and you can burn it on win7 it supports isos.
