The monitors are worth more than everything else. Keep them, use the case for a boat anchor, if was AMD then I'd say as a large paperweight.

monitors aren't worth anything
you can literally garbage pick better monitors
old computers simply aren't worth anything right now the days of a core2machine being viable for anything other then the most basic of tasks are long long dead

$100 with no operating system, and only monitor disregarding possible imperfections. $160 for a clean system and valid Windows product key with no advertisements, nor trial or fully genuine other programs, excluding fully operational Unix / Unbunto instead of Windows. $240 from me, with a working visually unflawed monitor, and any basic programs reasonably handy. Add $100-150 to final cost for same model year included more professional valuable program releases with installers, minus $50-$60 for lack of hard copy installers. $100 or less if some or all of these things look like junk and is bare system. $200 with matching year release date of equipment and project composition specialist programs, and physically poor presentation pc; $260 for case in need of repairs, with either duplicated or original higher advanced program installers on disk, as well as installed.

My best guess is somewhere between $20-40 for everything if it's clean and functional. Blow all the dust out, wipe everything down that should be glossy, get rid of sticky things and fingerprints. Take good, well lit photographs (not on your bedroom floor) and post on craigslist at $40. Good luck...

It could be worth something, even though laptops try to get a higher price, they are not worth as much to me. Here is Intel they have, that has sometimes bullied AMD out of the top spot. I have seen broken computers try to sell for more than $40.00, just for parts. You shouldn't have to worry about what is new, or it may get a worthless estimation of a market solicitation value. $20.00-$40.00 is nothing. You can donate it to charity. However there are a lot of things you could do with it.

I did some eBay hunting a couple months ago and got my brother an off-lease Dell PC:

Dell OptiPlex 7010 mini-tower
  • Intel Q77 chipset
  • Intel Core i5-3570 processor: 3.4 GHz base / 3.8 GHz turbo, 4 cores / 4 threads
  • 4GB of memory
  • 500GB, 7200 RPM hard drive
  • Windows 7 Pro
It has a few limitations (being a Dell business computer), but for a $132 U.S., he got a decent machine that will last him for 2-3 years. With competition like that, an old Core 2 Duo machine isn't worth much....

There is no certainty somebody would see anything faster. But do not try to install new kid video games on something that is from a previous time. Nobody usually pays for a what is proclaimed as a seriously fast internet. What something is worth can be variable depending on what it comes with. Pre-OS-X Apple 68k, OS 8, or 9, and every older PC I have ever used, starting with Windows 95, I can get to start up a version of Photoshop faster than the new one, with image export as high as 24 bit bmp. Adobe CS 64 bit can go up to 32 bit bmp. All of the web pages I have seen does not use BMP, and converts a less space hogging file, despite still wasting space in my opinion on and offline. Some members of Stormfront.org have come out complaining in opposition to less of American standard races saturating their computer. Although outdated electronics is worth less in the newspaper, there could be something you can do with it that no new computer will ever be capable of.

One extra big Doner kebab. :D

It depends where you live. About 130$ with 19" monitor and about 140$ with 20" monitor - legit copy of Windows included. Everything should be in perfect condition without flaws.

its cash worth is not good, but its value as a running system Is better than its worth. If you can manage to get it to a person , in functioning condition, it might be worth theyre trouble. The second that thing starts to be taken apart, imo, it shouldnt go back together. What i would do is ride it to its death.

They have some uses... I mean I still use an old core 2 duo as a makeshift NAS of sorts, just a bunch of drives on a file share...

But monetary worth is not much, I'm afraid.

$200 if you get creative with marketing it on a local classified.
For example, with laptops, if you add pink vinyl and windows 10, a core 2 duo laptop is worth $200 to the right idiot.
With videocards, if you market it as "for mac pro" the value doubles.

Just get creative.
