Well, I have been offered to buy a HX 850 and trade it for a G31t-M lga 775 board, a E2180, 2x2GB of some Kingston HyperX (can do 800 cas4), and some random case that looks OK... plus a 19" CRT and some thermal paste as a bonus (thermal paste I don't need and CRT is barely useful to me). The HX 850 would cost me 175$... Local deal from a TPU member ;)

Is this an acceptable deal or should I ask for more or no deal?

I can go to Microcenter also, and get a athlon 620 + mobo for 89$ incl. tax... So that could be an easy upgrade...

What I really want to know is, how much is an e2180 and G31T-M worth? Because, for me, if I price individually, I get 80$ for RAM. 30$ for Case, 5$ for CRT + thermal paste, and 60$ for CPU + mobo... does that sound like a fair deal?

i'd personally give that CRT more than $5 value. I know its a CRT but none the less its def worth at least $25. CPU+Mobo sounds pretty close thou i'd still value it more round $70. The proposal is you purchase the HX850, then trade it for all those components? personally it sounds like a decent deal. And memory prices just keep climbing so in a month or 2 that might be worth $100 lol. I think i'd do it, your getting a complete system build that you could probly resell for $350 locally or on ebay.

its a 19" CRT xD thats all I know o_O and I have no space for it >.< Could be somewhat useful still...

I was hoping to get an HDD with it... if I could get an HDD, I would go for it presto :D or maybe if I give him 50-100$ cash, he might accept giving his E8500 or E8500+mobo
