how often do you upgrade your gpu?

This yr i think i went from 4850 -> 4870 -> GTX280 -> Current Msi gtx295 v2

You're switching a X-Fi Fatality Pro for a Xonar D2X, to use with a PC multimedia set of speakers?

Dude that's just wrong.

not really, I just wont suffer from rediculously bad drivers & shoddy support anymore haha. but your opinion is welcome as is mine.

Ive been having a fair few problems with my XFi since I owned an Xtreme Music - then i upgraded to my fatality pro & frankly after 2-3years of non stop random issues from day 1, my patience is wearing thin & I refuse to continue to support Creative anymore.

the D2X is still a great card theres absaloutely nothing wrong with it. many people love the DX2 & many see it as a much better card then the Fatality pro.

so what if it dont have EAX 5.0???

Creatives shitty drivers & lack of support is 'wrong' but lets not turn this thread into a creative Bashing thread.

Not often enough I just went from a 5900 Ultra to a GTX275 .. But thats just a interm card till the New DX11 crads come out from Nvidia come out then i,ll go for a DX11 card.

I had to do a huge upgrade when I bought my niece a laptop for uni and it was faster and better then my desktop..:eek:
