Hi all,
Simple question here: what do I need to get a 4K 60 Hz signal with full dynamic range 8-bit colours and 4:4:4 chroma onto a TV with an Nvidia GPU?
Unfortunately, I sold my Radeon 6500 XT a while ago which did the above without problems. Ever since, I've been struggling. The integrated Intel UHD 750 can do all of it, except with a 4:2:0 chroma, and all my spare Nvidia GPUs want me to choose between 30 Hz and full dynamic range (30 Hz hurts my eyes after an hour or so), and 60 Hz with limited dynamic range and washed-out colours (it's just plain ugly).
I thought you only needed HDMI 2.0 for this, but I've got lots of spare GPUs, including a 1660 Ti which is HDMI 2.0 capable, and it still wouldn't work.
I'm posting this here because it's only Nvidia GPUs that I'm struggling to get this working with.
Cheers.
