I've been banned from a gameserver for no particular reason.
(Seriosly)...lol.

I didn't do anything, i'm just a really big pain in the ass to the Noobs because i Kill everyone 2 to 1 in there, so they don't like me in there.
But I love playing Moh Breakthrough, and I want to get around being banned from 1 particular server.

I've got a Belkin N1 Router, and i tried changing the Mac settings, but it did not change my ip Address.

Is there any software, (shit i saw out there sucks mostly and is way too sloww).
Or any hardware reconfigurations?

I've done everything short of changing from my current isp to another for new ip, but this is too drastic and pain in the ARSE!!

Please help if you can.
Thanks!;)

connect via proxy to the server, theres many free proxy lists on the web, if you cant configure the client, etc. to do it, you can download proxy software to do it for you.

BTW, DUDE! you're still alive! i haven't seen you in forever, nice to see you again :toast:

Use a proxy server to change your IP address.

Can't you just phone your ISP and ask for a new ip or a ip change?

you cant do that to an isp normaly, but you can however go into the command line and type in ipconfig/release, than unplug your modem for as long as it takes to reset and hook it back up, and when the modem gets sync and has the ready light on you hit ipconfig/renew, if you have a cable modem like from time warner or cox cable, and especialy if you have a dsl modem it will reset your ip to something new every time, i get banned about 5 times a day atleast on the no cdkey nrns server for bf2. hope this helps, to get to command line go to start menu, click run and when the box pops up type cmd and hit enter, its as easy as that.

Lol! hey there Pancho!
Hehehe.....figures after so many months, i run into you on a post on subverting the dickheads ban on me on some gameserver...lol.!!

Thanks alot man.... will try that..

Here's What I've Done:

1. Changed my ip no problem with the router, that didn't work.
2. formatted pc again and used new serial number (different then original) and that didn't work, sometimes they can keep tabs on you by your keycode in your game when it installs..crazy huh?
3. Tried that gay ass fairy software like hide my ip...lol...that blew chunks!!!:nutkick:

Whew...all that just to get into one frickin server!

dude, keep in touch...hehe..thanks man..you are a good good dude ...!

Yep, They don't do that at comcast cable.

I did get my ip changed thru my router, but they still know it's me...

Last resort is going to bellsouth for slow connection...lmao...then switch back to comcast in 1 month.....then i'll have a really clean ip....Belkin N1 router didn't do the trick neither.

Going nuts here!:banghead:

Oh man, i appreciate the Help.
But that's the first thing i did... release/ then renew / then
went into view network / then i obtained a new ip and dns in there, that don't work neither.

That's kiddie stuff.... Dude i formatted this bitch and used a keygen for a new keycode to bypass their security guard from hell.... and still they knew it was me...

Well are you sure it's ip ban? it may be a cd key ban :S

some ISP's give you a new IP when you recconect (please note that routers and modems are different here, if you have a router changing/releasing the IP on your PC wont do squat)

If your ISP offers a static IP address, you need to call them or change it via their website.

Yea man, Thanks alot... I knew my ip changing w/the router shiz..didn't do squat!!!:shadedshu:shadedshu

Yes , thanks...will try to change ip thru their website or call them... but i don't think they'll do it... i'll end up going to bellsouth for a month, then switch back to comcast..... then i get a new ip for sure.......lol...

I'll just give a summary here.

WAN IP - your net IP
Local IP - the IP your router gives to local systems. Port forwarding is done here, so that ports sent to the WAN ip actually go to the chosen LAN ip.

The only way to get a new WAN IP is from your ISP, and its a lot more common to see static IP's (Stays the same between reconnects) nowadays than it was for dynamic (the way dial up worked)

make a new account?

that might help

port forewarding...get putty and a crappy lanbox

yea thats why i like my AT&T DSL service, if i restart the DSL modem i get a new IP everytime

That's what I was gonna ask. Is he still using the same account name? If so, that's probably his problem right there.

As far as renewing your IP, unplug your modem from power and the cable line for like half an hour, then hook it back up. That's the only thing that works SOMETIMES on my Comcast.

i like having static, because my friends know the IP to join my game/teamspeak servers.

See, me and candle just cant agree on anything.
