how to initialize my new drive?

i have just put in a new 250gb samsung drive,but it dont show up on my computer.:banghead:

heres how my system drives are setup-

do i need to initialize it or something? and is it on the right port?

my raid ones are one and two.the samsung is on three and the dvd/r is on port two.

what do i do?

Right click My Computer > Manage > Disk Management >Right Click Disk > Initialize

yeah u need to initialize it, from computer maintence

is it ok as a simple volume?
 
yeh there better then i thought aswell only using it for storage tho lol:laugh:
