Hello to all forum participants. I am interested in the question of how to measure the speed between my PC and the router on wi fi 7? I am interested in specific numbers!

Adding to what @Solaris17 already linked and in the interest of preventing further questions here’s the manual for the software:
Also comes with the software binaries on install too. It’s a very basic command line tool, but I am sure that anyone with base computer literacy will manage. If that still hurts, well, there is a GUI version:

Start a server in one terminal and run a client in the other. It's a network throughput tool. The others showed where you can find it.

Запустите сервер в одном терминале и запустите клиента в другом. Это сетевой инструмент пропускной способности. Другие показали, где его можно найти.
Оk.

Bufferbloat and Internet Speed Test - Waveform

You go to the Windows network adapter and check how much connection the wired network is getting and how much connection the wireless network is getting.

The wireless network fluctuates, so the lowest connection on it will be the real connection.
I don't need an internet speed test, I just need a network test between my laptop and the router!

You have a wi-fi 7 router and only one wi-fi 7 client, which is your notebook. All other wired and wireless connections in your home are slower than wi-fi 7 (in ideal circumstances). You want to somehow achieve the maximum wireless speed without other connections holding it back. I don't have a solution, I just want to make sure we understand the issue.

I think it's only possible if the router has a speed test feature built in. Another option is to bring two notebooks with wi-fi 7 close to the router and move data between them, hoping that each of them can use half of the router's maximum bandwidth.

f you have access to the router's terminal, you might be able to log in and transfer files from your computer to the router, depending on the router's software and capabilities. However, this typically requires proper setup, including enabling SSH, FTP, or another file transfer method on the router.
A more practical approach is to connect another device to the router (such as a network storage device or another computer) and transfer files from your laptop to that device over the network. While this might not always be the most direct way, it simpler and you can still get a good idea of the speed.

Hello everyone. I was able to connect my Samsung s23 ultra to the router via the MLO network (5 Mgz + 6 Mgz) and get a speed of 920 ...

I copied one file of 3.4 gigabytes!
