How to modify inf files can some on explain how its done or better yet who ever has the knowledge please modify the inf for the latest 301.34-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english this come out with the GTX690, then let me know how to use it/install

Right click - Edit.

EDIT: Oh I thought it said ini. Double click the file to open it and there you edit it.

Here you go .... Just unzip the file and you have the ini

This driver seems equal with the 301.25 with me

So i replace it with the one in the driver after i extract the driver?

yep,

just run the 301.34 installer until you get the compatable hardware error. Then go into your C drive and open the nvidia folder and find the display driver folder . Then replace the old ini with the new and then run the setup file from the nvidia folder and you're good

I extracted the 301.34 using winrar then in the extracted files i found the driver folder it had the inf then i replaced it with the one you modded and when i installed it no error appeared, i guess its almost same procedure

I installed it and it worked, strange thing about DX11.1 on the panel was not there before or i never noticed it before was the first thin i noted on this, so i highly think it wasn't there before.

Any info on why this driver seems to indicate DirectX 11.1 support on GTX460, apart from the obvious that the driver was released with the GTX690.
