how to move order of disks shown in My Computer

the thing is. (C) and (E) disks are split single Samsung SSD.
(D) disk is single 500GB hdd.

i find it difficult to use when (D) disk is in the middle of two split SSD disk. is there any way to move (D) disk on the right corner? as i googled, nothing found.

Change the drive letter of D: to a letter after E:. It's sorted alphabetically by drive letter.

looks like i already tried this. its just adds letter. like for example, when i tried to rename (D) to (G) it became Local Disk (D) (G)

That doesn't sound right. You are changing this in computer management correct? Do you have a screenshot of the (D)(G) drive in explorer?

^This. Change the drive ltter in Disk Management inside Computer Management, and it will change the drive letter completely.

You can temporarily change it to like g or something. Then change the current e to d then change the now g to e.
