How to "normalize" the color of my PC screen so it is not so "blue"?

Have you tried a different cable
bad or imperfect connections can have this effect

Pardon, but you're speaking english well and understandable.

I guess i can just throw this screen to the trash.

Tried fiddling with it, but nah... the "blueness" is still there, whatever i do... Never been this annoyed by a device before. :(
not until your seen mine office monitor, everday i sit on desk just to watch this beautifull screen, yes its still usefull aside how it looks like, i can bear with this
133240

:D

Even a half decent budget TN Is better than what OP has right now. I'd just splash 100 bucks on a new one. Or make it 150-180 and you have a solid IPS.

There. i threw the screen out from the 3rd floor. NOW there's definitely color contrast on the screen.....ffs.

All I can say is it might be some of the best tech I have ever bought in all my time of using a PC.
They are not just for computer monitors. If you spend a small fortune on a big screen TV for your home theater, a color calibration too is invaluable too. It is amazing (to me anyway) how far out of calibration brand new TVs costing $1000s will be right out of the box. :(

While technically true, you would need a PC connected to the screen full time when viewing for the ICC to be active. Once swapped over to cable or another device, the color will go back to poop, no?

Did you yell that last part at the monitor when you threw it out? I would :D :toast:

If you need new monitor advice, do ask, tell us what you are looking for resolution / diagonal wise and budget.

My comment you quoted was for TVs. I'm not aware of any TV using ICC profiles - profiles that, with computer monitors, run in the Windows OS.

When you calibrate a TV, you change the settings in the TVs own built in control panel.

Another option suggested by a friend I've never tried it but it comes from the THX people so I would hope it is pretty good. At least the price is right.

THX Tune-Up App.
