Hi I've started the process of ripping my entire blu ray collection to my HTPC so I can stream my movies to my laptops, tablets and cell phones in the house.

I've installed and configured Kodi. But I do not know how to read those files on Kodi. Is there a way to "mount" those files or read them? some of my movies are 3d movies (.ssif)

Kodi menu under video / add video / then point to the directory.

If you set the name up like Name.year It will scan indb for the info in the movie

Then you will have new menu item called movies

Kodi has its own codex. Then you have to change the sound options under preferences depending on your sound set up.

There's a learning cure with Kodi but ounce you get it you will be hooked. I've been using it for over 8 years

yes I've already got my libraries set up and directories. Kodi does find my 3d movie. And it does start the movie, but in 2d only not in 3d. I don't have the 3d icon (to switch 3d on) at the bottom right.

It probably read s the m2ts file as a 2d file when it actually has the 3d content in it.

Kodi associates the m2ts file with the .ssif file. the .ssif is the huge 39gb file whilst the m2ts barely has any size at all.

Last time I checked Kodi does not support 3D. But check the forums they may have a add on for it
