i feel for the small business man but if the only way he can stay in business is shoddy work practices and serious over charging then meh i dont care if he does go bust, go and work for minimum wage like half the country has to and see how you feel then.

but i would prolly just rma if there intent on not replacing/refunding you, pain in the ass but you know youll get the replacment

Did they sell you the keyboard with no punctuation mark buttons as well?

I went in to a shop a yr or so back and someone was returning a keyboard they had bought that had completely blank keys! Someone had forgotten to print onto the keys, needless to say they got a replacement without any quibble!

they have three store here in aus and they have the worst customer service any were but they sell parts that other shops don't but i buy online now so its all good
