Looking for recommendations for a new wireless router. Budget is under $150 must be able to handle a lot of traffic, newer tech only. Really I just cant make up my mind so if you recommend something please explain a little about why.

The NETGEAR WNDR4500 is nice with the USB 3.0 but out of my price range

Im leaning towards the ASUS RT-N56U. great reviews and two USB 2.0 but this is a tough decision

I can't find out about what version 2 adds to version 1 (that I have and like a lot). Can someone tell me?

Linksys E4200v1 uses Broadcom SoC BCM4718 (DD-WRT Supported)
2.4ghz 2 streams- 300 mbits/s

V2 = 2.4ghz 3 streams- 450 mbit/s, features a new Marvell chipset, which is not supported by DD-WRT"


Lol, I didn't know my V1 has DD-WRT support (= bios modding). The speed is variable and noone will ever have constant max speed.

The old G Linksys routers. But really looking for any potential problems with the new stuff. I haven't kept up on routers. Actually mine works great just looking for faster transfers
 
What about the Netgear WNDR3700 ? I have the DGND3700 which is the ADSL 2+ Version and i take it to lans and it never drops out some of the features i don't use like the USB but i brought it so it would last a few years.
