Hello, I bought a AMD RX580 8GB 2048SP, But I think that the graphic chipset on this thing is wrong. She can't go over 1250mhz of memory clock and 958mhz of clock without crashing. Already tried a lot of drivers from 470, 570 to 580. Nothing seens to work. My best results was with Adrenaline 22.10.2 with 958mhz of gpu clock, 1250mhz of memory clock, +50 of Power Limit, Still a poor performance and crashes from time to time. I don't know what to do. If you guys can give me a light and a direction It would be great!

I think you might have gotten a card that has a mining bios on it.

if you check on the back of the card, there is normally a white or yellow sticker on it with the serial number and part number. If you could get us a picture of that or tell us what it is, it would help narrow down the correct bios.

if youre going to post a picture. Be sure to blur out the serial number as that is private information - we just need the P/N or SKU

(there is a worst case scenario where that card could have been mined to death then flipped on the market - its unfortunate but this is quite common)

Okay theres only the serial number on it. What should I do next?

Take pics of the card and blur out the serial number, we need more information to identify the card.

Hello.
Based on the ID you have i suspect that you own a Chinese RX580.
Here you have a BIOS file that matches your card and memory code:

Here is she: XD

the chip is from a a RX 570, but Idk about the ammount of memory, Never used even 4gb because of the frquently crashes. What should I do? I just want this graphic card to work proporly.

I hope you saved the original BIOS in a safe place ?
Here you have another BIOS file.
Start computer and choose internal graphix for default.
Start windows and go to device manager to check the RX card
Then you will start the flashing procedure all over again, this time with the new file i posted :

Are you able to return this thing? Graphicsplayer is an Aliexpress scam brand. It's a real enough video card, but it's actually a RX 570. I have no clue how to hack the bios on this thing, so you're almost down to trial and error to find one that works.

Real Chinese brands: Colorful, Dataland, Inno3D, HIS, Viewmax, Maxsun, Manli
Fake Chinese brands: Fullcolor, Graphicsplayer, Veineda, Vamray, XHVGA

If you can't return it, here's one to try. At this point we don't know if you really have 8GB or 4GB, and I can't make out markings on the chips.

He he , he said it so nice.
Yeah these cards are Chinese brands, but all of them are in fact a copy of the original RXxxx cards.
Inno and HIS are serious brands.
Most of the real Chinese brands are fully functional copies.
The fake ones are unstable.

So your card has a bios on it that reports an incorrect video card type. It's a scam. A newer version of the fake 7670 or 1050ti etc. No way to hack the bios on this one though, not that I know of.

Try loading the rx570 bios I posted a link to. The reason your card currently does not boot is you loaded a 580 bios on to it, but it's not really a 580.

Okay, Gonna try it and then I post the results on the thread, hope it works, but if It don't work, what should I do next, 470?

Take a good macro picture of a VRAM chip so the guys can tell you if it is a 4GB, 8GB or something completely different.

Try the one I linked first. It has support for the micron chips you have. If it doesn't work, then we are just looking for a 570 BIOS with different micron timings. Are you able to upload the original bios from the card or is that gone?

I actually have the bios but don't have integrated graphics, My graphics card is with a more experienced friend of mine, he's doing all the work for me XD Gonna try to get the original room asap

If you double click that it should show details on why you are getting that message. I'll try to look at the bios you posted today to see if we can figure out what that card really is.

Please try another method :
Download atikmdagpatch and use it to patch your video drivers.
Restart computer and check if it works.

But i forgot to ask you : did you cleaned the old drivers and reinstalled a new one ?
If not, then you should start with that.
Download the driver suitable for your card(do not use the latest drivers)
Disconnect the network
Restart computer in safe mode. Use DDU to clean the old drivers.
Restart computer again and install the drivers i provided earlier.
Restart computer again and reconnect the network.
Now check the device manager

Okay so I manage to use this bios https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/208854/sapphire-rx570-8192-180123-1.
And I think all my problems are gone. The newer driver works like a charm, I can use all of the vram and 1750mhz of frequency. But I didnt tested that much due to my 9-5 job. Gonna stress her this weaknd and then I post the benchmarks here. Thank you guys for all the help, I´m praying that everything goes right.

So basically you flashed it back to a RX570, like it supposed to be.
And what "newer"driver you use ?

Well, i am glad that you card works as it should
