a Quick Benchmark in Rainbow Six Siege.
Tested at 720p with the lowest Settings.

Hardware:
10900K(F)
6900XT Nitro+
32GB 3600Mhz CL16
Z490 Prime A

every test was repeated three times and the results are the Average value of each run.

explanation for values (49/43 = 4.9 Ghz Core /4.3 Ghz Cache)

All Voltages and fanspeeds were fixed. (including VCCIO/VCCSA)

Influence of the overclocks:
Temperature and Powerconsumption HWInfo64.
49/43 1.28V LLC5 55°C 98W
49/47 1.28V LLC5 56°C 99W
51/43 1.40V LLC5 74°C 134W
51/48 1.40V LLC5 74°C 136W

The results are pretty interesting. leaving the CPU alone and increasing the cache gives a better overall performance than just a 5.1 Ghz all Core overclock.
and all of that for a basically 0% increase in Powerconsumption and Heat Output.

I've seen similar results in a youtube video but for an 8700k and a much greater differential in uncore speed:

This is probably quite well connected to the lower memory latency you can achieve from the uncore OC
