i5-11400 single core performance 7% faster than i9 10900k

"The single-core performance of the Core i5-11400 processor on Geekbench 5 looks promising, scoring 1500 in the 1T benchmark. This is around 35 percent higher than the Core i5-10400 and is roughly 7 percent higher than the Core i9-10900K"

"In the multi-core benchmark, the processor scored 6664 points, an 18% performance uplift compared to its previous generation counterpart. Intel 11th Gen Core processors are expected to be available by the end of Q1 2021, with the latest rumours pointing to a launch on March 15th"

10400f is already such a good deal that they don't have to do anything crazy (they don't have to re-invent the wheel with 11th gen).

Even just a 100mhz speed increase, 3-5% IPC increase, and higher native memory support would all be incredible, espeically if they keep the cheaper f edition
