I delided my i7-6700k and run at 5.0 Ghz with 1.385v temps stay below 70c after using liquid metal and a H115i Liquid cooler here is the screen shot. Been running for a week now with no issues
My benchmark is above a i9-9900K guess im lucky to have a good chip that is stable to run at this speed with lower voltage and low temp. I think the key to delidding was using very little glue while reattaching the heat spreader. Only put a very tiny dot of glue on just the flanges so that the heat spreader was sitting on top of the die and there was no gap created by the glue raising the heat spreader.
https://valid.x86.fr/m28l1m Running at 5051.25 MHz (50 * 101.03 MHz)
Here's my Furmark scores with the 2 Nvidia 2080 Super with Nlink I would say they run quite well with i7-6700k Over Clocked to 5Ghz under stress test i get max 157 Deg F and 69C
