Got a new setup with no gpu, just wondering if it is worth the put in these cards I already have. The 6570 has a fan, and the 6450 is fanless.

Thanks.

Don't know that motherboard in your system specs, it should probably start with Z170...
The 6570 is probably the better card.
I'm sure you will buy a new card soon?

Actually the intel hd530 iGPU of your CPU might be even better lol! :p

Yea, I made a typo it should say gigabyte z170m-d3h.

I am thinking the igpu is better also. It is hard to stare at those cards and not try them lol

I wanna get a msi gtx 1070/1080 eventually

A few months ago I was in such position, only I didn't had a spare card, so used the intel hd530 first or my gaming laptop for heavy gaming until I got my GTX1070.

Light gaming works fine on intel hd530.

the 6570 is slightly faster than the hd530. the 6450 is a paperweight. i wouldnt bother to plug in either of those cards. just start saving for something else.

Try it out and find out yourself, don't waste your time discussing it here. Practice > theory.

Practice is also greater than theory when it comes to helping.

I would try both the HD 530 and the 6570 while you save up for a new GPU. The HD 530 is based on Kepler so it also is outdated.

I think this is wrong. As far as I know, nvidia is the only who made an architecture codenamed kepler.

According to this, I think a HD530 might be good enough while waiting for a dedicated gpu:

But again, since you already own them, you might as well try.
