a "low end" i7 mobo (ex:ud3 from gig) is a very good mobo nonetheless...

False... with the new D0s, some actually go 4.2 on air.... A scythe mugen 2 or s1283V are great coolers for example..
Indeed, upgradeability seems better for am3... only way to upgrade from i7 920 would be looking at Xeon chips I believe? Still... it will be hard to upgrade later
How come you all say it will start a flame war? Why? Because I thought that this forum was pretty mature not to start one... All I wanted to do was to compare both setups... When I did, I was surprised by the little price difference vs. the big performance difference... So I was guessing that either what I said was true, or that I was missing something...
