IGN copypasta reviews from little youtube channel

Back on topic... The dude has been fired. Apparently it isnt the first time he's been a lazy sod and plagiarised someone elses content. A lot of the videos on his channel seems to be rip offs of other peoples videos.

The only thing that changed this time is he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar which then uncovered the history of him ripping off peoples content.

Well... they are taking down ALL his work...

he challenged the internet and the internet answered --- IGN have uncovered and received so many tipoffs from anons that they dont know what is his real work and what isnt so they are just taking it all down completely... Apparently even his resume is a copy paste of a template or someone elses own resume.

I dont know why he did this... Maybe he made a bet with a friend that he could get paid for doing absolutely nothing at IGN.

He'll have to find employment in another field of work. This might even affect the chance of getting employed if this employer has heard about him and recognises the name. my thoughts would be "Oh, so its this asshole...." as soon as i see him step into the room for an interview.

Why do people have to shoot themselves in the foot like this????

Its good to see IGN have some sort of dignity and honor though. Everyone knows that they get paid by publishers to hype games and give them overly positive reviews.... I mean the next call of duty will probably score 8.5/10 at its lowest if not 10/10 while the rest of the player base just think its aids. But that is IGN for you

IGN isnt stupid when it comes to income. Their whole network off quite a bit of free content, so it shouldnt surprise anyone that this happens. Plus, its been widely known for years, just not spoken about within IGN.

He will never work in Journalism for a long time If at all. Im talking about him working in other areas/fields of work. Even if its just flipping burgers at wendys. If i was manager I would be really hesitant to employ this man if i recognised his face and his name.

His face has been broadcast all over the world. There's going to be nowhere for him to hide unless his potential employers havent heard of him or he starts up his own business. He has shown the world that he cannot be trusted and that will affect his chance of employment for those in the know for a long time to come. Basically he destroyed his his career and future career path.

He also monetized his apology video that was shown in the video I linked because he knew he was a hot topic and wanted to bring in some last minute clicks, even though he claimed it wasnt. He did it and he suffered more backlash because of that. He took his apology video down not long after he got exposed for monetizing it.

He apologises but there is no weight or meaning behind his apologies. Its all crocodile tears.

that would depend on if it falls under fair usage or not. your network should contact his network to negotiate royalties. technically you should be entitled to some of the ad revenue

Watermarks is always a good idea to get credits.

Credits = publicity = more views. I don't care that they use other people piece of videos, as long as they credit them at least. It's the bare minimum.
