what CPU? 10900k?

It should work with just one, if not try the leftmost one first.

no you don't need both only for super heavy overclocking.

do i see a A + B so i would go for A

what mainboard is this not your z370 or ? sorry could have looked better z490 aorus - yes manual says left one

Use the Noctua it is about 2-3 degrees cooler than the MX-4 and needs no burn in time.

+1 for noctua but both are good to use.
like the noctua better for Graphiccards with small Die´s because of harder viscosity

Turned on system but it keeps rebooting.

Something is not right but it could be everything from forgetting to connect the CPU fan to not mounting the CPU cooler properly. It could even be that you unplugged the SATA connector or 24 or 8 pin connector.

make some pic´s and we try to help
ram in correct slots normally a2+b2

TBH if I see plugs/connectors I use them period.
No guesswork about if it's right or wrong - If it's gonna work it will.

I know it's not a requirement in many cases but that's just what I do and I've never had an issue because of it.

Going to take it all out and do it again tomorrow.

Finished re-building earlier and tried system a minute ago and the same happened as before, not having much luck, it
boots and goes for a minute and then reboots.

Does it continue rebooting, how many times have you left it before shutting it down?
Once or twice may be Dram training.

You are mistaking Arctic Silver 5 and Arctic Cooling MX-4. MX-4 is probably the best TIM on the market until you get to liquid metals and it doesn't have burn in either.

Left it rebooting for 30mins

So, is the new mobo replacing the current one listed in your system specs or is it a separate one, that will be the replacement ?

Have you tried accessing the bios settings @ boot up ?

Boot drive info = did u clone a copy of your old boot drive to the new one ?

Disconnect everything (all sata devices, graphics cards) and only leave connected 8pin for the cpu + 24pin for the mobo + 1 ram stick. Hook the monitor to the iGPU and power on the pc.

Also make sure that ur case doesnt short anything, assemble it outside of the case just to make sure.

If nothing works then try another cpu/mobo, also u might want to try to flash the bios, iirc that mobo got a dedicated usb port exclusively for flashing.

New mobo cpu and cooler replacing what i have.

are ya using 2x 16gb memory modules?
if yes try booting with one stick

if its 4x8 so try 2x8gb in a2+b2

would ya be so kind + tell us what parts your using now?
so a giga z490 with new cpu + cooler rest from profile

do ya have boot\debug leds that indicate where its stuck? notmally there are for bootmedium\ram\cpu
ahh ya have a debug poster\or post code led-what does that say?

Using ram + I formatted the 500gb me ssd, I am using the system on a 49" Sony bravio 4k tv and nothing shows on the screen and all was working before I upgraded. All cables from power supply were in the right place from previous motherboard so I was just able to plug and go, boot\debug leds jump all over the place ie. 00 2c SC 61 1e.

I tried the system with two sticks if ram but the same happens, I have another power supply I will try that tomorrow I will also try switching the 8pin socket top left on the motherboard as there are two.
