Hello everyone,

Today I changed my ryzen 3600 CPU for a 5800x3d with a Thermalright Peerless Assassin cooler
I also changed my 16gb RAM to 32Gb (2x 16Gb 3600Mhz).
At first I did a benchmark which showed my memory underperforming. I found out I had to enable XMP in the bios which I did and now it's running at 3600Mhz.
However now, I see my GPU reaching 90-100% usage in task manager when playing Guild Wars 2 on my first monitor and YouTube on my second monitor.
Is this normal? I don't think I had this before.
Also, is there any way I can see if my new parts are performing as expected?

Thank you for all the help!

There are multiple difference GPU benchmarks you can use to test GPU performance. The FFXIV benhmark (free), Cinebench R24 GPU bench, Unigine Superposition, ect.

It's pretty weird though, when I'm playing Guild Wars 2 and watching a Youtube video on my second monitor, it's stuttering.. This didn't happen before

Try turning off hardware acceleration in your browser, you had spare GPU power before to offload decoding YouTube videos to as your CPU couldn't keep up with your GPU, now with a CPU upgrade you can utilise your GPU 100% in games so should offload YouTube to your CPU see if that alleviates the stuttering

Tried doing this, but still a lot of stuttering

I had this problem too at one point. Narrowed it down the the version of firefox I was using and graphic drivers and onboard audio. It went away eventually after reinstalling all of them. I just switched to a different web Brower at the time until I figured it out (about 2 years ago).

I did some stuff this weekend (don't ask me for specifics, I tried so many things I already forgot lol!) and it stopped stuttering!
