Installing Crossfire

I just got a Sapphire HD 4870 1Gb.:rockout:
Looks like more web shops here are lowering the prices. It was €245 yesterday and now €173.

thats is amazing lol congrates m8

hey i going to bed i most work tomorrow talk to you later technicks:toast:

Well i guess my bad luck hasn't ran out just yet.
Yesterday i called the webshop i ordered the card, to ask if they would send me the card shown on the picture. I wanted the ATI pcb and not the blue Sapphire one.
He checked the product code and he confirmed it was the right card.
Today i received it and to my surprise:rolleyes: i got the Sapphire one.:wtf:

I called them and i was pissed. The lady told me the guy who helped me was not in today.
So i told her that i would probably sent the card back tomorrow and wanted a refund.

In the meanwhile i was cooled down a bit but was curious to the cards performance and decided to give it a go.:)

I had the 9.2 drivers installed from the HD3870. But once i put the card in and booted up i got the message that there was no driver installed. So i removed the driver from and installed it again. Once it restarted it booted into Vista. After a few seconds it artifact ed like hell.

Touched the card and it was really hot. So it goes back tomorrow.;)

Kinda shitty because i sold the HD3870. So it's back to the laptop again:shadedshu

Well i decided to buy a ATI Radeon HD4870 1 Gb.

I did not feel like waiting before i got the money back from the Sapphire.

But i will tell you one thing. Sapphire= Never again.:nutkick:
For me it's over. 3 dead cards is enough for me.;)

Also bought a red Razer Copperhead to complete the ATI look.:D And a Scythe Musashi cooler for the HD4870. But i already ordered that for the Sapphire card.
