I have a Asrock z590 oc formula board and i guess a 11 gen processor works with this board, i have read that. How does it work? Do i need a special monitor and were do i connect it? Does it generates more heat to use the cpu graphic?

Plug into board. Very simple. Won't work if you have an F model processor.

Thanks. So i need a special cable to the monitor or tv? Does it generate more heat to the cpu by playing 4k videos with the iGPU?

Why do you need a special cable? It's basic video output like anything else.

Yes there will be more heat because you're turning on the iGPU by using it.

It looks like this

If you checked earlier or read the manual, you'd see no outputs. No iGPU use for you.

Well it can still be used for QuickSync and general GPGPU tasks but no output

Reminding OP that SKUs ending in F (such as 11400F) do not have iGPU present

Thanks. It stands different on different sites. So a iGPU is impossible to use? The motherboard supports 10th and 11th Gen Intel Core processors, and its built-in graphics depend on your installed CPU. It has a 2x DIMM memory that supports ...

Depends on CPU means that some models (namely those ending in F) do not have graphics functionality.

The OC Formula is a motherboard intended for very high end PCs (and you are frankly wasting it with a 11400), treat yourself to a i7-11700K or i9-11900K sometime :)

You got a point, i guess it don't support iGPU when it has no ports. I will buy a i9k later.
Why would you buy an i9k to fix the problem? the issue is with your motherboard not the cpu. The motherboard is the item that needs changing if you want to use Intel's UHD750 iGPU. Just make sure it has HDMI or DP outputs.

I meant that i will buy a i9k later when i have more money. If there aren't any out ports on the board, i guess i can't do any.

Ok, but you will have to part with more money buying a dGPU. Up to you though, if it's worth it for usage model.

I suggested saving for the upgrade because it's a Z590 OC Formula. That board is made to push clocks :)

If OP has no need for advanced graphics I suggest purchasing a cheap GT 710 or Radeon RX 550 for video out :toast:

I read that Intel gen 10 have AI, but i can't find that info for gen 11. Does 11 also have AI? Is it better to have a gen 10 with AI then a gen 11? I need a cheap processor first before buying a i9. I will use a 3.0 graphic card so i don't need PCIe 4.0 first.

If by AI, you mean the GNA, then it's a new invention with Gen 11. It isn't used for much, so I wouldn't make it a purchase criterion.

If you need a display output from the iGPU, then you'll need to change your motherboard. The question is, what do you need on terms of usage?

11th gen Core i9 is a waste of money. It's basically a Core i7 with an extra 100-ish MHz on its turbo and a higher price tag.
