I have a Mac Pro, and currently have 2 Saphire X1650 Pro CF ready. I don't have a master card so I need to use the software version of CF. Anyone know a driver that I can use that will fix the incompatibility?
I downloaded the Omega Driver which identifies the cards as Pros, but will still not allow crossfire.
So I have a Mac Pro Running SP2, with 2 X1650 PRO 512MB. So right now I see in Windows Hardware Manager:
ATI Radeon x1650 Pro
ATI Radeon x1650 Pro
ATI Radeon x1650 Pro Secondary
ATI Radeon x1650 Pro Secondary
ATI says I should see:
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro CrossFire Edition
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro CrossFire Edition
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro CrossFire Edition Secondary
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro CrossFire Edition Secondary
Plus when I go into the CCC (Catalyst control Center) I do not see the Crossfire Option. I called ATI they wouldn't help me since I have a Mac but they said that it can be done, using third party drivers but they can not endorse there use. And I checked the ATI website and it appears that the Crossfire Drivers don't load until a second card is detected.
So my question does anyone know where I can find these magical drivers? My google Fu is failing me big time.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thank you all!
