Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
The problem with that 6800K is even though it's $449, you still don't get 40 full PCIE lanes. You have to dig deeper until your pocket have holes in them for that 6850K to be able to get it. $617 for optimum Xfire/SLI at 16x/16x? No thanks.
YTou lose 1%... why would anyone do that who isn't benching competitively?
6700K on Firestrike
Que?
There doesn't seem to be much love for laptops in the news here, but the i5 and i7 7xxxu series are being released soon in a number of brands.
Que x2? What is that about in this thread? LOL!

First reply was to a comment on which CPU was favourited in a certain bench, second post by myself was just announcing more CPU's being released that have yet to be mentioned. Problem?

Thank you for clarifying your double posts. As far as a problem with the second post...not so much a problem as a lack of relevance? What do they have to do with broadwell-e desktop platform?

Now, as far as the 6700K being favoured...Intel octo's reign supreme in FS scoring. ;)

Weird the #1 guy has an octo ehh?? http://hwbot.org/submission/3051523_kingpin_3dmark___fire_strike_geforce_gtx_980_ti_27861_marks

and #2-10... I can keep going....

Its all about 'dat Physics test here bub. 6700K doesn't hold a candle to a 5960X. So while the 6700K may be used more, it is not because its the better scoring processor, but the more affordable one compared to the $1000 octo core. ;)
