Intel Arc Board Partners are Reportedly Stopping Production, Encountering Quality Issues

Different angle, this is shit there's only two precious's(some covet too much Nvidia and Amd).
We need three to five not two.

Perhaps Raja was still AMD through and through.

I think this train wreck is even bigger than larrabee already, We're in new paradigms of turd here, shit even two noob Chinese GPU makers got they're shit working and shipped before Intel, the biggest GPU(igpu) supplier in the x86in world.

Well even though I am planning next gen AMD CPU and GPU upgrade - Im sad that this didnt turn out better - we need strong competition in both the CPU and GPU markets - last time we had one leader - we stayed on the same cores for an eternity...

PPPPPP
Prior Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

In Raja's defense nothing. In Intel's graphics departments defense same. Not a very good sign or start to a product launch that's been hyped for the last too many god damn years.

They prepped for so many years they're shit got old pre fÂŁ#@ing release.
As for the quality of that prep, well.

I might have to buy a grey import one before they're gone for good at this rate.

Just to mess about with etc.

Inventory write-downs are the number one cause of hardware vendor failures. Bad time for a new product.

Quoting your own post IN THE SAME POST ... that's next level.

Intel's playing the long game trying to kill off it's board partners. They can afford to because the US tax payers are paying to.

What did Raja design at AMD?
Fury and Vega were his “Hype” Neither lived up to it. Yes I still owned both…

He led the design of Vega. Which was great at compute, but pretty unimpressive for gaming. It probably helped AMD's financials though given how lucrative mining was at the time and how well cards were selling for that purpose.

Intel wants AIBs to eat shit on profits by selling to OEMs and system integrators to gain marketshare, yet at the same time Intel is unwilling to subsidise the prices of their own fucking GPUs in order to build that same marketshare. Gee, I wonder why the established AIBs didn't want to deal with them, and why the guys who made that mistake are starting to have cold feet!

Every new article about Arc is just another cherry on this turd cake.
Or you can state it like this:
What's the little while dot on top of a pile of chicken shit?
It's chicken shit too.

So it's not as much about unspecified "quality issues" as the market being what it is.
I've bern rooting for the underdog ever since K6...

In the dedicated GPU market Intel is the underdog, so I assume you're getting an Arc GPU as soon as you can?

Ha-ha! I'll humor you. Back then AMD had a hadful of skilled guys and almost zero funds and yet they managed to pull most major innovations in CPU design to date, e.g. inegrated memory controller, multiple dies, etc.
At the same time intel were just lazy and were pouring money to OEM and retails just so that the latter don't sell or recommend AMD.

Ahhhh, recession across the globe is affecting the rich now. I didn't see every market possible crashing when they raised prices of food, who would have thunk it?

Oh, well I'm canceling everything possible not needed right now to save money so I can still eat good and raise my family. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ELSE!

They have always been good people, fighting for the little man, the common folk, out of the goodness of their hearts and purity of their souls.

So, I'll have a couple of VIA's and a dozen Xeons for balance?

You know what I can't say I regret still using it, in a way, yes I would love to upgrade but I play ace combat 7 , horizon zero dawn Doom eternal, all at 4k decent settings if not max non ray tracing.
It's still rock solid, plus it's earned itself twice and done thousands of F@h work units.

Shit, Vega was his best work!!.
