Intel ARC GPU discussion thread

Hi,
Thread might pick up soon some people are starting to buy these doodahs

Intel continues to struggle with drivers issues. From the Gamers Nexus review alone 43 issues with the drivers were found. This was one of my concerns before the A380 was even released. If Intel can't make solid drivers then they will fail.

The only one that I'm remotely interested in is the A770 which is supposed to have RTX 3060 performance?
That is a bit too low for me who wants RTX 3080 12GB performance for about $500.

Was supposed to be released on the 12th they said. Was going to purchase today but alas nothing

it's a very discrete launch indeed, you can't see in adverts in the store pages

I've just spotted the cards at a UK store, the A770 for £389 and the A750 for £329. Not bad prices, but I'm in a dilemma whether I should get one of them, or a 6750 XT for £469.

My local Microcenter has six A750 8GB. Doesn’t even have a product photo and is marked down $10.

Damn screw this PoS... way too expensive.

Fire Raja.

What is it with these suppliers. They always fail to deliver one way or another

They are appallingly priced given the inconsistent performance vs a £300 RX6600 / £370 RTX 3060 outside of the DirectX12 Benchmark Bubble:-

I think one maybe two out of 1,500 games I own are DirectX12. As much as I want to support a 3rd player, I certainly wouldn't buy a GPU that ran badly on 99% of games I'm likely to play on it.

Might turn out to be a console-like affair where it takes several years to get old stuff up to where it can potentially be.

Let's see if they keep that up with a new gen coming out on top.

French drivers, that's probably never going to be any good

Bruh, some sellers listed A770 here for 650 euros. For comparison - it's possible to find new 6750XT for 550 and 3060ti for 500.

Haha, now we can fry the gpu with insane voltage!

Tool doesn't seen to work for me (all it seem to do for me is setting a locked frequency to 2600gh max). And i remember Skatterbencher saying one of his videos that the tool only works within "the warranted perimeters".
