Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
so, giving a granted as "OMIDOG! look at that! we gonna give what everyone else do! feel grateful! we are so generous!" well, that's a first ...

probably already mentioned by someone ... will there be K ARC and non K ARC ...
personal take : will this be a rental OC capability? ... because i still haven't gone over my 6600K not being able to OC after a few time with a 100/200mhz OC (roughly 18 month  )

also i hope they will not get cocky with the price and disturb nV and AMD pricing
although the only solution for that would be banning cryptos all together ... or definitely doing something about GPU mining, not the half assed nV method which is just a "look we do something /not really, just kidding we made it easy to be circumvented so we can still profit! fools!/ about crypto" ... but greed prevail

I wouldn't be surprised if their GPU's are savage clockers.

Indeed looking forward to seeing that happen :)

As for Intel and @maxfly supposed OC support... wow. To think that of a company who has been locking away every tiny semblance of a feature behind a different paywall, is pretty staggering. Every drop of OC on an Intel CPU is being paid for twice over, and the last few generations you're getting less value for money every time because Intel needed to market/do the work for you.

The last good Intel CPU for overclocking was a 2500/2700k. That's right. Ten whoppin' generations of Core ago. Every shrink OC went downhill faster, and when they stopped shrinking, the last drops were literally moved to high performance cooling territory and excessive power budgets to attain them. Even Intel plays ball in that area now with their 'new' Turbos.

So much angst, its sad to see. Psst, I assure you, whatever it was, real or perceived, it wasn't personal...
Is paywall the new word of the day? If you cant pay don't play! Too easy.
Your entitled to your opinion
