If they're the same or close price, I would go for the DDR5 model, bearing in mind that you will need to ditch that crap ram for some real stuff, and that a dGPU is NOT included with this promo, so if you plan to use it for gammin, leave some room in your budget for that too.... at least $700 or so....

But you could probably get by with the integrated GPU for older, less demanding gamz for a while....

While OLOy is far from a renowned brand, there's no need to get rid of it as long as its 6000C32 XMP profile works. Again, provided it works, better save the money that swapping it would require towards a graphics card.

The reason I said what I did about was that I have had 8 different kits (16 & 32GB) of that garbage in 3 different rigs, and EVERY SINGLE ONE, regardless of profiles, timings, tweaking or whatever caused crashes, freezes, and instability, so I had to deal with returning them & went back to the real stuff, like crucial, sammy & micron.

Sooooo, as I frequently say:

"cheap is as cheap does" :D

"you only get what you pay for"

"putting lipstick on a pig does not change the fact that it still smells like sh^t"

$350 w/16GB 3200/cl16 if you want a cheaper system.

Or

$400 w/D5 but 6000/cl40 though.
