Intel Core i9-11900K "Rocket Lake" to Feature i9-9900K-like Fancy Retail Package

So, now, they can start adding +++ signs to their packaging too, but just how many will it take to properly identify this new packaging, which will allow us to differentiate between it & the standard crappy low life "normal" versions :)

Intel CrunchBang++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ with Linux inside technology...

Almost like Intel is making a statement that the processor is a trash as it looks like squashed CPU box.

.... you aint nobody.
The implication of that statement is that he IS a somebody.
I'd suggest not entering in a battle of wits if you are not prepared and turn up empty handed.

get off your high horse, you aint nobody.

Over here insinuating we're all "simple" people because we're joking about A FUCKING BOX and we should all be grown up snobs like you, yet you use "ain't" which isn't even a word :p :D

Way to kill our fun :shadedshu:

A snippet of the Guidelines:
Posting in a thread
Be polite and Constructive, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.
This includes trolling, continuous use of bad language (ie. cussing), flaming, baiting, retaliatory comments, system feature abuse, and insulting others.
Do not get involved in any off-topic banter or arguments. Please report them and avoid instead.
Healthy debates will generally be allowed if the following criteria is met.
Useful sources and constructive wording.
Maintain the topic that they're taking place in.
No insults, trolling, shaming, hate or toxicity.
Avoid political or religious comment unless it is specifically relevant to a topic and in those cases is only acceptable if done in an unbiased manner.
Once it is considered over, do not drag it on only to have the last word.
Short and pointless posts like "yeah", "me too" or "haha" can be made on the rest of the internet, not here. Post count doesn't increase your e-penis.
Stay on topic, changing the topic won't help the discussion. Feel free to create a new thread instead.

Lol so many haters in this thread, blows my mind how butthurt people get over Intel.
Are you going to buy one just for the box or something?

This is how you do a special edition.

I gotta admit, I do love mine !! :D And my 9900k box for that matter and I think the 8086k I have as well although if I remember, it's somewhat basic....

Not so sure on this Intel design... I wonder if all the Youtuber's will get the black small box with some foam inside or if they will stretch to the retail packaging...... Ah well, all the fuss over the box is slightly worrying if your meant to be thinking about the performance of a CPU..... just my 2 pence...

I loved the bulldozer packaging, too bad it was already toast. Did AMD pay for the damages caused by deliberate false core counts by the way from those series?

paying $500+ for a CPU it better come in a "fancy" box that I will throw in the trash seconds after insuring the CPU works properly. in other words, could care less what the box looks like

Hi,
You'd want to keep that box for at least 3 years seeing that is the warranty period and without it no rma.
