Despite a modest outlook for the PC industry looking into 2013, Intel plans to begin production of its 4th generation Core processors, codenamed "Haswell," on schedule, in Q4-2012. In the run up to Q4, Intel has taken stepped down production to prevent swelling of inventories. A little earlier this week, the company declared good Q3 results, turning $13.5 billion in gross revenue, and $3 billion in net income. In its press-release, CEO Paul Otellini acknowledged a increasingly tough environment was taking shape for the industry. "Our third-quarter results reflected a continuing tough economic environment," he said.

Is it 101% accurate?

133 MHz is not going to happen as long as there's an IGP on the same die as the CPU. Intel uses PCIe clock signal to time both PCIe and base clock.

Waiting until Skylake. Hardly any games even use my 4.6 Ghz Sandy bridge 2500k. /shrug

I still have hope, according to wikipedia:

Confirmed new features
Haswell New Instructions (includes Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (AVX2), gather, bit manipulation, and FMA3 support).[11]
New sockets — LGA 1150 for desktops and rPGA947 & BGA1364 for the mobile market.[12]
Intel Transactional Synchronization Extensions (TSX).[13]
Graphics support in hardware for Direct3D 11.1 and OpenGL 4.0.[14]
DDR4 for the enterprise/server variant (Haswell-EX).[15]
Variable Base clock (BClk)[16] like LGA 2011.[17]
Supervisor mode access prevention (SMAP)[18]

I'd be glad even to have the 100\125\166 gear

We know what me must do. We must cut remove the corruption from within.

HEDT lacks IGP. Let's resume this conversation in mid-December (when there are CPU-Z shots of Haswell ESs doing rounds).

Proof Intel is moving forward in a big way.

The 4770k if that's what the i7 version will be called will be my next CPU

About how much performance gap should be expected from a 2600K to these haswell chips , over 50% ?

Yup and AMD sucks. Haswell FTMFW it's going to perform so much better than everything else in existence.

Now just where did I say this? Intel is moving forward and in a big way. I am not nor have I commented about AMD, You however are implying that I have (or is that inferring?)
Just stop  .

??? I do not get it. :twitch:

Almost....... On time only afew years off
